Name That Tune

Though FOX’s latest revamp of Name That Tune is slightly different, it still delivers the same fun and exciting experience. And the best part is it’s always changing. In other words, the first round of each show is played using different rules. At its core, the first round contains six songs ranging in value from $1,000 to $6,000.

The rounds that may appear in each show include:

• Title Track, where the sets of three songs are placed under different categories.
• By Request, gives players six categories from which to choose
• Remix’d, where the songs are performed in a different style. Wait! Did Beyonce go Bluegrass? Or Country? You never know what genre a piece will be remixed into.
• Spin Me Round, has the players spin a wheel to determine the song category
• On Shuffle, is where songs are played by six artists

Once the initial rounds are completed, the game moves onto the Bid-A-Note round. Four songs are played in this round, each being valued between $10,000 and $25,000. Here you'll find the most exciting part of the game. It’s a lot like the original edition, but rather than limiting you to 7 notes, Name That Tune now limits you to 10. If you fail to beat this, you don't automatically win. Instead, you get all 10 notes in an attempt to steal the value. The player with the most money at the end of the round wins.

If you're lucky enough to win the game, you advance to the Golden Melody round, where you have to answer a set amount of songs within 30 seconds.
