The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On

Nationwide Casting Call

Are you ready for marriage, but your partner has cold feet? We have the solution for you! Grab your partner and sign up for the new Netflix series, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Netflix is currently casting for upcoming seasons and would love to help you give your significant other "The Ultimatum."

The show follows six couples who are committed but unable to reach a decision on marriage. In each case, one partner is ready, and the other is not. This show allows the partner who is prepared for marriage to issue the other an ultimatum.

Each couple agrees to participate in the social experiment where they are paired off with another contestant for a set period of time. After dating the other contestant, the original couples are placed back together, and then they must decide to get married or go their separate ways.

The show is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Here's a video about the show...

Much like any other show, the producers are looking for specific people. This is one show that you can't fake or attend simply to get followers. Rather, potential contestants must allow producers to speak with family, friends, and community members. Additionally, they check out popular restaurants and other businesses around the area to ask about the couple and their relationship.

However, these aren't the only rules that contestants must follow. Check out the comprehensive list below:

  • Couples must agree to be paired off with other contestants, which will result in moving in with someone they don't know.
  • You do not have to leave the show engaged or even together.
  • Filming lasts for months and must be allowed in the apartments, but it is not 24/7.
  • Everyone must originally live in the production city.
  • Couples must move during their temporary arrangement and are not allowed to bring reminders of their original partner.
  • You must discuss events that occur off-camera.
  • You can use social media but don't overdo it with partying.
  • You should have no contact with your original partner, either in person or via text.
  • No violence of any sort is permitted.
  • You can ask Nick or Vanessa for advice.
  • Auditions are open for anyone 18 and up.

Just be prepared that this show is not for the weak or light-hearted. You and your partner will be dating and living with other people, so not only are social interactions explored, but physical ones may be as well. So, what do you say? "Get hitched or call it quits?"
